Skincare Challenge 4 - Beauty Pie

This post has been a long time coming....my opinions on this has changed so often but I now have a position.

Now onto the skincare challenge:

Over the last few weeks, I have used several products from Beauty pie. Got a holy grail product, some that work for me and a maybe fail? Read on to find out more.

Tried the Japanfusion transforming cleanser. This seems to be a dupe for the Glossier milky jelly cleanser. This is a very gentle gel to oil to milk cleanser. Ensure you follow the instructions (massage onto face, add warm water until milky, then rinse well) and will wash off daily grime.

According to beauty pie, this will wash off makeup, oils and pollution.

In my experience, it does not wash off makeup. As a second cleanse, this works fine, as morning cleanser, works fine.

Given the price, was satisfied with its performance. As a beauty pie member, you can purchase for £6.91.

Bought this face mask as it should give you the same benefits of having an oxygen facial in 15 minutes.

Should brighten, moisturise, re-energise and give you clearer skin by applying a thin layer on for 15 mins, wipe off excess with a damp washcloth and apply moisturiser.

Sigh....this was fine as a face mask, uncomfortable not washing it off my face, then applying moisturiser on top of it, ruined my day. Was uncomfortable, could not wait to get home and wash myself clean.

I usually have it on for 20 to 30 mins. Wash off, not wipe off excess. It did give me clear skin and definitely brightened my skin. Beauty pie price comes to £16.46. Would I buy again? Don't think so. Can get better elsewhere.

Holy grail find! This is just beautiful. Amazing!

This prep lotion, essentially a toner that beauty pie claims softens, hydrates and turbo charges every other product you layer onto it.

Claims True or false? So true!!!!

I applied this onto my face, had to step away for a bit, then forgot about my PM skincare routine that night because this toner essentially hydrated my skin.

Typically, I would be uncomfortable but this worked so well, I forgot everything else.

It also allows everything else to layer well. This is currently out of stock on Beauty pie, will be back there purchasing several bottles as soon as it comes back. Price is £8.70. Little price to pay for such a fantastic product.

You literally should not run out of this at any point. Blows all my previous toners out of the water.

This is an interesting one. Superdrops - flash facelift.

Visible wrinkle smoothing, firming and remodelling. Claims you will see a difference in 6 weeks.

I started using this with zero expectations. Just had this belief it would not work, so focused on the fact that, it also hydrates.

Coloured me surprised. It does work! I do not particularly have wrinkles, however, I do have them on my forehead, not really noticeable, so it did take me at least 8 weeks to notice a slight difference.

However, it did work. The claims are true. This goes for £11.54 on beauty pie. Well worth the price.

Note of caution, while this did reduce the visibility of my wrinkles, it was very slight and took 8 weeks. If you are expecting instant results and very clear results, you will be disappointed and you will need more that what this bottle will offer. A cosmetic surgeon!

This is such a nice lotion. Very light, easy to wear and claims to brighten and refresh skin as well as protect from environmental stress.

No clue on protecting from environmental stress. In my opinion, just jargon to sell the product.

However, this does hydrate, layer well on top of makeup and under other skincare. Does not pile

Goes for £12.35 on beauty pie. The price factor is steep in my opinion for what you get. You can get cheaper elsewhere.

Started using this serum much later than the other products, so only been using for about 4 weeks. My opinions are based on that time limit for this one item.

This serum is refreshing to use, non-sticky and claims to visibly reduce fine lines, hydrates and calms skin.

I bought this as a replacement for the supergroup - flash facelift. It certainly hydrates and agree to the calming of skin. Used this when I had a breakout.

Reduced my breakout and calmed my skin. Unable to confirm on the reduction of fine lines. Will pop an update at the end of this post when I finish the bottle. Goes for £12.86 on beauty pie.

Super health skin purifying cleanser.

Not a big fan of this cleanser. It tries to do too much. Be a cleanser, and a facial at the same time.

Was not successful at either job.

Was only useful as a morning cleanser and and was a fail as a facial. Did nothing. Price on beauty is £7.95.

Got this supplement for the month of March 2021. My diet was lacking and needed supplements as an addition. Took the perfect daily for the month.

Comes with 60 capsules, take 2 a day. From the first dose, this worked for me.

My nails were stronger (surprising fact), they usually break from the side, this did not happen when i was on tis supplement.

Also got an increase in my energy levels. Well wort it.

My gripe is having to take 2 capsules of this a day. They are not small by any means so shoving them down my throat daily was not pleasant.

Smell is also terrible. Goes for £12.17 a bottle. Will be re-purchasing.

Those are all the beauty pie products I used as part of this challenge. Will be trying out more of their products at a later date as another skincare challenge.
