Beauty Pie is a subscription/member’s club or can be termed as a direct-to-consumer membership-based luxury on-line brand run by Marcia Kilgore who I would term as a serial entrepreneur.

Beauty pie does not produce their own products rather, they source luxury products from 59 world-leading labs in the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, South Korea, Japan, USA, Spain, and Germany.

Had several hauls from Beaty pie over the last few months. Used some sufficiently that I can give a review, others I am working through and will update my reviews at a later date. ts (makeup, skincare, and supplements).

Monthly subscriptions: £20 a month allows a spending limit of £200 of luxury products each month, £10 a month allows a spending limit of £100 a month and £5 a month allows a spending limit of £50 a month.

Annual subscription: £99 a year allows you a spending limit of up to £100 of luxury products each month. You will still save up to 80% on typical prices (we will get to that in moments).

You can upgrade and downgrade across the spending limits as you wish when you join a monthly plan and must remain a member for a minimum of 3 months.

All members are also entitled to pie days. This is when you make purchases from a selection of products without utilizing your spending limits. The last one held was on black Friday.

Not to how it works….

Example: If you have the £10 monthly subscription or the annual membership, your spending limit per month is £100.

The typical price of a product is deducted from your spending limit and you pay the member price.

A spending example is below:

I love this service, you can coin it however you wish, member club, subscription, etc. It's great. If you go through the site, you can see items that are clear dupes????? Or very similar to luxury brands like Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury at much lower costs.

Item Typical Price Members pay

Pure oxygen radiant glow moisture infusion £75 £14.78

Japanfusion pure transforming cleanser £25 £7.47

Subscription £10

Total £100 £32.25

The table above reflects the total cost, the typical value of both items in the market is £100, while the total cost paid including the subscription is £32.25 which signifies a significant saving.

Any balance on your spending limit not used is rolled over to the next month. You don’t lose your spending limit.

I generally save money on my purchases mostly skincare when compared with other products that I usually purchase. However, not in all cases, often, they are products which you can get cheaper on the market.

Product review.....so far

Plantastic cleansing balm - I love this cleansing balm, the 1st time I used it, not so much. Made a mess, did not completely wipe off my makeup. I was going to write a scathing review on the beauty pie site when I realized I did not follow the instructions. I tried again the next day, wow! This worked well, cleaned up all my makeup without drying my face. The pack also came with a cleaning cloth to use with the balm.

While I adore this product, been using it a lot more than my micellar water. I still use my micellar water when I am in a hurry so not perfect but great. It sells out pretty quickly on the site and takes a while for beauty pie to restock. Ended up buying a backup.

Beauty pie foundation - This foundation has some negative reviews on the site but I honestly don't understand that. This is an exact colour match for me. Rivals my Pat Mcgrath foundation which is my holy grail with a price tag of £60 against a price of £7.23, just less dewy or shiny. I am in love. I use this mostly now and I have a fair bit of foundations. No comparisons. If you favor medium coverage, check this foundation out.

Superactive capsules vitamin c & e serum - Judging by the empty bottle, you can guess my feeling about this. It worked for my skin. The capsules are quite small so use 2 capsules at once (nightly, applied after cleansing), 1 for face, another for neck, chest, and back of hands.

Brightened up my face and dulled some of my old spots (still have to use it a lot more to see if my spots completely clear out) Already have my second bottle. Well worth the price.
